Notification of Annual General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held on Friday 1st November 2013 at 7.00pm. in the Table Tennis Room at Winterslow Village Hall. Please advise if you wish anything to be added to the Agenda.

At the AGM all of the existing committee stand down and members are required to elect a new committee and nominations are required. The committee elects the officers at their first meeting after the AGM.
Following the AGM, the Harvest Supper will be held in the main Hall, 8.00p.m. for 8.15p.m. Tickets priced at £12 are available from the Secretary and must be requested and paid for by no later than 25th October. Other Committee members will also have tickets available.
Cabbage Walking Stick – those who have grown on their plants should bring them to the Hall on 1st November either between 3.00 and 4.00p.m. or just prior to 7.00p.m. Please ensure you wash the roots of the plant. Also bring the item made from last year’s plant. Judging will take place in the main hall whilst the AGM is taking place, results will be given out during the Supper.
Categories are:- (a)Tallest Plant, (b) Smallest Plant, (c) Most healthy plant, (d) Plant most suitable for a walking stick (e) item made from last year’s plant.
All members will receive an AGM flyer by email (sent evening of 25th September) or delivered by hand between 20th September and 4th October. If you have not received your flyer by this date please contact a Committee member for a copy.
